Where I Stand
Life
I have been and will always be unashamedly pro-life. I pledge to fight for the rights of the unborn and will oppose any legislation that funds organizations who perform or encourage the practice of abortion.
Liberty
Our Constitution is under attack. From business owners forced to offer insurance coverage that violates their religious beliefs to overreaches by the NSA to collect and record every phone call made by ordinary citizens. Congress is slowly eroding our Constitutional rights.
The Pursuit of Happiness
I am a rancher and small business owner. I know personally in my dealings with the government that if they would simply just get out of our way, our economy would grow by leaps and bounds.
The Second Amendment
I am a staunch proponent of the Second Amendment. Our right to bear arms should not be infringed, period.
The Fourth Amendment
We need our government to protect us from enemies, foreign and domestic, but not at the expense of the Constitution.
Taxes
We need to overhaul our tax code. Better yet, we need to scrap the income tax all together and go to a FAIR or flat tax.
